Summary of the film Freedom Writers

          Summary of the film, Freedom Writers, is based on real events and tells the story of teacher Erin Gruwell to begin teaching the class 203 of Wilson College. After his first class, she realizes that education in that school wasn't as he had imagined. Therefore, there are divisions of gangs and ethnic groups including students bringing firearms into the classroom. Same shaken, Erin no surrender and looking for a way to bring these students for a harmonious coexistence. It was then, who had the idea of students after reading "The diary of Anne Frank" write your own journal reporting everything. Thus, the students began to realize that there should be no differences between them. Upon learning that the school not someone lend books to students, Erin got a second job to buy these books and submitted to a third party to get more money and make a cultural journey with your class.         The freedom Writers movie is based on real facts, starring by actress Hillary Swank, who lives the character of Professor "Erin Gruwell". The story takes place around the year 1992, where the city of Los Angeles lives a real war in its poorest neighborhoods, generated by gangs by racial issues. 


         The Teacher Erin Gruwell to take the classroom realizes immediately the work ahead, trying not to feel shaken in its first day of class, it looks somehow bring these young so that ahab with existing prejudices.
